You hire an Agent for one reason: to get results. You need help in "raising your draft status", help in making the transistion from College to the Pros, and help with business decisions.
The Agents at HSM have earned a reputation for getting results for our clients through hard work, effective representation, and personal contact.
Over the last four years, an astounding 89% of HSM's clients have signed contracts to play professional football. Two of those four years we were 100%.
Each player's needs are different, but here are some examples of some of the issues we can help you resolve:
Novemeber/December ►What is your draft status ? ►What are the perceptions of your strengths and weaknesses? ►How are you going to overcome or improve upon those weaknesses? ►Which All-Star game will you play in, and can you get into a "better" All-Star game? ►The games are only 30-60 days away, what do you need to do to prepare? ►Who will pay for the training and/or other preparation?
January January is All-Star Game month: ►Which game or games will you attend? ►Will your Agent be there? What if you are playing in the Vegas All-Star game or Cactus Bowl instead of the Senior Bowl, will they be there? ►Should you take that last minute invite to X All-Star game? Cancel another? ►Should you test for the Scouts at the All-Star game or wait for the Combine? ►The Combine is only 30-45 days away at this point, what do you need to do to prepare for it?
February The Combine is looming at the end of the Month: ►What last-minute preparation needs to be done? ►What drills will you do? Why? ►Will your Agent be at the Combine? How can they help you?
March ►What drills will you save for your Pro-Day? ►Will your Agent be there? ►Where will your Pro-Day be held? Who is going to organize it? ►How will your Agent promote your Pro-Day? ►Will they promote the results? How? ►Do you hold a second Pro-Day? ►Do you attend Pro-Days at other campuses (if you are elligible)? ►Now that your Pro-Day and the Combine has passed, what now?

April ►Draft Day is approaching, more decisions. ►What teams are interested? Which ones are not? ►Should your Agent be contacting teams, if so, who? ►Which teams are a good "fit" for you and why? ►If you are a Free Agent, what team do you sign with? What kind of deal does your Agent get you? ►Should you sign with a CFL or Arena League team if a contract is offered? If so, when? ►Mini-Camp is around the corner, have you been preparing? What should you expect? What if you don't get offered a contract? Will your Agent stick it out with you?
May/June/July Mini-Camp months: ►What do you need to do to prepare physically for Mini-Camp? Mentally? ►You've got questions on everything from how to talk to your coaches to who pays for your hotel to should I let that Veteran take my rep...who are you going to call?
July/August Training Camp ►You need someone you can depend on. Someone who has been through training camp before and looks out for your interests. ►What happens if you are injured? Released? Not getting playing time?
September to January ►You made it! It's the start of a new career but life in the NFL will bring new challenges, and pitfalls. How do you overcome the challenges and avoid the pitfalls? ►When do you start planning for life after football? ►The first year is a long one, how do you get through it? ►What's your plan for the offseason? What do you need to do to prepare for your second season?
